Fukushima

I went to the Fukushima area, in Japan, in April 2024. 13 years after the disaster, the life has progressively come back to normal in most of the former evacuation zone. However, the villages of Tomioka and Futaba are still under decontamination. In these villages where radiation level remains high, you can see houses that haven’t change since this terrible morning of March 2011.
